Egypt’s economic environment is very encouraging, especially after the commencement of the Economic Summit, Ahmed El-Sayed, partner at Ernst & Young (EY) told Daily News Egypt on the sidelines of the conference.
“Egypt has launched several conferences before, but this one in particular is the best yet,” El-Sayed added. He further highlighted that the summit does not simply discuss general issues or projects, it is shedding light on specific projects.
“Companies and other entities have put forward specific plans for projects in Egypt, they are here to execute and this is what makes this conference very successful,” El-Sayed noted.
The latest tax adjustments are steps in the right direction, and the government is highly responsive to the ongoing situation of the financial community, El-Sayed added.
