Korean personal car sales reached EGP 6.3bn for the first nine months of 2015, compared to EGP 24.6bn in the same period in 2014.
Korean cars were also able to sell 44,400 cars from total market sales with 146,000 cars, acquiring 30.4% of the personal car market in Egypt.
The Hyundai Verna topped the list with sales amounting to EGP 1.5bn with 16,500 cars sold, considered the cheapest Korean car in Egypt.
The Hyundai IX35 achieved sales estimated at around EGP 1.4bn at second place with 6,108 cars sold. The Elantra is at third place achieving EGP 861m with 5,387 cars sold.
