The agreement improves Egypt’s participation in “Astana EXPO-2017”, says CEO of IMC

The Industrial Modernisation Centre (IMC) has signed an agreement of cooperation with Kazakh Chamber of Commerce, according to a press statement issued on Tuesday.

The statement added that the CEO of IMC, Ahmed Taha, who signed the agreement on behalf of Egypt, stated that the agreement aims at improving Egypt’s participation in the “Astana EXPO-2017.”

He explained that the agreement would increase the bilateral trading rates, attract new investments, and encourage industry partnerships between both countries.

Taha said that the Egyptian delegation talked with the government of Kazakhstan and provided information of 34 companies that might be interested in doing business over different sectors in Kazakhstan, which includes companies that work in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

The statement added that Taha held a meeting with government officials of Kazakhstan, which discussed establishing a permanent fair of Egyptian products.
