
Apple’s tablet market share slipped to 41.13% of device sales in May compared to 47.13% in April, bringing the company’s market share down 6%.
According to a StatCounter report, Samsung followed on the list with a share of 39.2% of market sales in May, up from 34% in April, marking a growth of 5%.
According to the report, Tecno came in third with a 2.6% market share in May, up from 2.1% in April, while Lenovo came in fourth, inching up to 1.1% from 1% in April.
In fifth came Alcatel with a market share of 0.94% in May, down from 1.12% in April, followed by Sony with 0.18% in May, falling from 0.12% in April.
Other brands collectively accounted for 11.6% of tablets sales at the end of May.
