Ibrahim expressed his gratitude to Mehriban Aliyeva, as well as the first vice president, first lady of Azerbaijan, and the head of Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation, and Azad Rahimov, minister of youth and sport, for their efforts in easing the procedures of hosting the Egyptian gymnastics team in Azerbaijan. Ibrahim noted that Rahimov offered unprecedented facilities to the Egyptian team during their residence in the country.

Ibrahim called on other Egyptian sports teams to benefit from Azerbaijani sports facilities, especially in the capital Baku, through holding their training camps there.
