The second edition of the book, Blank Page Syndrome, has participated at the Alexandria International Book Fair, which was recently held on 1-10 October.
The book focuses on those who are writing or reading for the first time, and sheds more light on the experiences and publications related to developing writing skills of people who passionately believe in the value and message of writing.
The book’s author, Fathi Al-Muzayen is the Chairperson of Halaet Wasl which has presented many cultural initiatives.
Al-Muzayen said that he is extremely happy with the great success the book had achieved, providing an experience that will encourage him to continue with the same approach that supports those taking their first steps in the writing world.
About 16 novelists will participate in the upcoming Cairo International Book Fair, presenting their books for the first time, he added.
As most creators experience overwhelming sensation at one time or another, Blank Page Syndrome also speaks about the lack of ideas or inspiration which the person can use to develop their work.
The book is a panel of instructions trying to help people to find the right path, answering the “Am I talented or delusional?” question.
The book is a serious attempt to support those with first experiences, with a distinguished presentation of many other publications of late great writers, and their vision of the value of reading and writing in society.
