MARAKEZ continues success of District Five project, expands residential land bank

Basil Ramzy, CEO of MARAKEZ, said, “Our flagship project in East Cairo, District Five, is an ambitious integrated development with the key elements we believe are required to craft a vibrant and thriving community.”

Egyptian real estate developer, MARAKEZ, has increased its coveted District Five Residences in New Katameya by 68 acres, bringing the existing 100 acres of residential land to 168 acres.

Basil Ramzy, CEO of MARAKEZ, said, “Our flagship project in East Cairo, District Five, is an ambitious integrated development with the key elements we believe are required to craft a vibrant and thriving community.”

“Our D5R compound has achieved record sales this year, adding on an unprecedented development rate, which has encouraged us to grow our residential land bank in New Katameya and increase the offering,” he added, “Delivery will start this year at D5R, coinciding with the first phase of the D5 Mall opening next year.”

MARAKEZ’s award-winning designs, and successful track record of delivering superior quality homes ahead of schedule, has placed the company among the industry leaders in a short time.

The D5 lies in New Katameya, in the Southern extension of New Cairo, with the company pumping in significant investment for infrastructure to connect the project to Road 90 and the rest of New Cairo. Its location provides easy access to Downtown Cairo, Maadi, Nasr City, the New Administrative Capital (NAC), and Ain Sokhna.

MARAKEZ brings significant depth and breadth of experience to the Egyptian commercial, retail, and residential real estate landscape, while creating thousands of job opportunities for Egyptians.

The company’s award-winning approach to mixed-use development is based on innovation and ingenuity.
