Liverpool’s Mo Salah records 30 points in 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League, 2nd highest so far

Egyptian star collects total 1,090 points since joining Chelsea in 2014


Liverpool’s Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has scored 30 points in only 3 gameweeks of the 2021/22 season in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, the second highest so far following West Ham’s forward Antonio (40 points).

During his short time at Chelsea – joined in the summer of 2014 – and since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has been a huge success in FPL, collecting a total of 1,090 points so far.

For those new to the game, FPL is a game that casts you in the role of a Fantasy manager of Premier League players. You must pick a squad of 15 players from the 2021/22 Premier League, who score points for your team based on their performances for their clubs in PL matches.

Prices are given to players based on the number of FPL points they are projected to deliver and you are limited to a budget of £100.0m for your 15-man squad. During the season, your fantasy football players will be allocated points for goals, assists, saves, and clean sheets. Players can also earn additional bonus points as a reward for a good performance in a match.

In Gameweek 3 of the English Premier League, Salah scored a goal from the spot against Chelsea, earning 10 points in FPL.

As for the best Fantasy team in Gameweek 3, it was called “Abdo” and collected 119 points. The team included Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy (1 point), Davinson Sanchez of Tottenham (6 points), Manchester United defender Varane (12 points), Leicester City’s Pereira (4 points), West Ham’s Cresswell (5 points), Tottenham’s Reguilon (9 points), Tottenham’s winger Son (10 points), Aston Villa’s Buendia (10 points). ), Manchester United’s striker Greenwood (8 points), Manchester City’s midfielder Grealish (6 points), and Leicester City’s striker Vardy (12 points doubled to 24 being the captain)

On the bench, Newcastle’s goalkeeper Freddie Woodman (2 points), Leeds’ Raphinha (2 points), West Ham’s Antonio (11 points), Everton’s Calvert-Lewin (9 points).

Noteworthy, the highest points scored by one team in one gameweek of the history of FPL were 226 points.
