The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in cooperation with Microsoft, has launched an advanced grant to build the capacities of 1,000 young graduates. The grant aims to prepare graduates for future jobs in digital transformation.

The scholarship includes several training pillars in topics related to technology and information infrastructure, such as artificial intelligence, data science, management of cloud computing operations, advanced programming and database management.

This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s strategy to build a digital Egypt.

It is also in light of the agreements concluded between the Egyptian government represented by the ministry and Microsoft. These agreements aim to achieve the digital transformation of many entities in the state’s administrative apparatus.

The grant aims to achieve knowledge and know-how in advanced technologies through extensive digital training, in addition to providing several training platforms, virtual classes and practical exercises. This aims to help trainees reach the internationally desired level of specialization in theory and practice. Each trainee will obtain a specialized certificate after completion.

According to the ministry, the grant contributes to refining the skills of young people in a way that qualifies them to effectively contribute to the technological renaissance in Egypt.

The ministry aims to reach these goals through relying on the competence and ability of Egyptian youth to absorb the means and technologies of the coming era that qualifies them to work in the global and local markets.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is implementing a strategy to prepare and qualify Egyptian cadres and enable them to obtain international professional certificates from major international companies.

Accordingly, the ministry established several partnerships in the field of digital capacity building.
