Egypt’s International Cooperation Minister meets with new IFC Vice President to discuss areas of cooperation
The funds come as part of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s activities during his recent visit to France, where he held discussions with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on various forms of bilateral cooperation.
Minister Al-Mashat said that the government has worked on several axes to deal with the crisis, including regional integration.
During the meeting, they discussed the projects that are being implemented in cooperation with development partners in the field of social protection, the most important of which is the Takaful and Karama programme, funded by the World Bank.
During the cabinet’s weekly meeting, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said the new entity would be headquartered in Cairo, with possible offices in other governorates.
